Prepping for Post-COVID Opportunities

By now you have heard about COVID-19, the pandemic that has its boot print on the world. COVID-19 is changing our way of life as we know it and it's going to affect how businesses are going to be conducted in the future, some positive and some negative. In lieu of this eminent change, what can we do? The answer is simple, preparation.

Many might be feeling frustrated at this time, simply because your normal way of life has been inconvenienced thanks to COVID-19. Feeling trapped inside, confined to your home and board out of your mind is attributed to 24 hr lockdown.

So, what to do with all this free time? Use it to your advantage. Start preparing for opportunities to come versus sitting around waiting, complaining or daydreaming about future partying.

Of course, this is easier said than done and we are going through a difficult time. However, we can use this time wisely, by meditating and connecting our inner selves with God, to seek our truest destiny. COVID-19 may be a blessing in disguise, it has given us time to reboot and appreciation for the little things. Since this pandemic began, along with the precautionary measure implemented like social distancing and lockdowns occurred, how many can now say they have a new appreciation for life and the little things they took for granted? For me personally, I miss going on the beach, feeling the breeze and hearing the sound of the waves playing tag with the shoreline.
But to get back on track, you can use this time off to learn something new, start a new business or solve an issue or problem that only you were born to fix. Or you can start a blog like I just recently did, as a new career path and hobby.

I urge everyone to sow now So that you can reap later.
Prep now.  Qualify later.

I can't say what your future holds but I know God created us to all be successful and I also know that God is not like man, and he will not give us things we can't handle. So, before he releases all the opportunities, he has stored up for you, including the things you’ve been praying for, he makes sure your able to handle it first. With that said, use this time to learn something new, refine your gifts, talents, and skills. When this pandemic season comes to end, there will be a lot of opportunities available and it would be in your best interest to be ready for when those opportunities arise. Don't waste this time complaining, finding fault or reminiscing about your job, (The same job been complaining about and hate.)
COVID-19 will cause job losses for some and promotions for others, that much is predictable. What side the coin lands on is a gamble but you can beat the odds by being prepared. COVID-19 is causing a lot of change right before our eyes and as a result, the world is going to be filled with a lot of opportunities, soon ripe for the picking. Don't get left out clinging to your old life or to what once was. Take advantage of this time, refine who you are as a person (individual) and prepare for the opportunities that will be waiting for you to take hold off. You control your future by what you do today.

  1. Great content. Except everyone's gotten use to the lazy life. I imagine some persons finished watching every movie or series on Netflix. Sad but true. The saying goes- it takes 21 days to develop a habit. I wonder what good habit was developed amongst the masses.

Super glad you've found your calling sir. Stay safe
